This is a discussion about living in the southern sector verses the northern sector of Dallas. I was recently told that I should move from Plano to the southern sector. They said for me to live in the area I live in shows that I have forgotten where I came from. When I talk to certain people it is assumed that because of where I live, I think that I am better that those who live elswhere. The truth is I work and live in Plano. This is just where I choose to dwell. SO my question to those reading this is: Does my location determine my character? Should I live in a "black" neighborhood because I'm Black? My personal opinion is-Live where you are happy. I didnt grow up in Dallas, I just came in town and moved in the place I liked. The place where I feel good when I walk outside. My hood is actually well mixed. My property value is good. It's a quiet place to have a family. My job is down the street. Why do I need to move?
